Dr. Schad is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the American Osteopathic Association. His services includes Full Spectrum Family Medicine with special interests in Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment. He received his education from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Glendale, Arizona with residency at UC Davis, Mercy Redding Family Practice Residency, Redding, California. Dr. Schad was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. He enjoys spending time with his wife, his two sons, and his two daughters. His interests include whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and skiing. His favorite food is sushi.
What are some things that you like or enjoy about living in the Quincy area?
“People know each other here. The feel in Quincy is that people are more cordial and respectful. There is a lot more waving going on than honking. You see people that you know out and about, like when you go to the Town Hall Theatre for a movie. I like that. It’s has a sense of true community.” - Dr. Joseph Schad

Dr Schad really listened to me and we got a good preventative health plan in place. Really appreciate him taking in to account my lifestyle to stay ahead of any future health concerns.

Dr. Schad is top notch. He strikes me as a doctor (D.O.) that sincerely cares about his patients and who strives to do his best to improve their health and quality of life. He appears to be very busy and he is generally booked out a month or more but he doesn't seem to rush things during the office visit. I'm blessed to have such good health care considering our small and rural community.

Dr shad is amazing kind courteous and very professional, his curly haired nurse was very kind and nurse Vanessa always goes above and beyond to explain and make me feel comfortable and encourages me always.
